No. Points decide your rank in the Arrima pool. Eligibility is a separate pass/fail test: stream conditions, French minimums, work experience, status. You can score well and still be ineligible.
Never say
"Score above X and you qualify." Conflating the two is the single most common error on competitor sites.

There is no fixed pass mark. MIFI invites the top-ranked profiles matching each round's criteria, so the effective threshold moves with the round and the stream. See the actual last real rounds instead of a promised number.
Never say
A confident "you need 600 points." If the cut-off wasn't published, say it wasn't published.

For three of the four streams it is a hard gate, not a points bonus: roughly level 5 oral for the intermediate stream and level 7 oral / level 5 written for streams 1 and 3 (TEER 0-2). Confirm the exact levels against the in-force grid before publishing them.

"French helps your score." It gates entry; describing it as a bonus misleads people into wasted applications.

No. A validated offer is optional in all four streams, but worth up to 50 points, which is often decisive in a competitive round.

"A job offer is required." It isn't, and saying so pushes users toward job-offer scams.

The PEQ closed in November 2025. Quebec experience and a Quebec diploma still carry weight, but they now score inside the PSTQ rather than granting a fast track. Everyone in that position files through Arrima.

Yes. Up to 120 points for the principal applicant, peaking between 20 and 30 and declining to zero at 45. Quebec's grid and the federal CRS differ in shape, so don't carry an assumption across from another tool.

No. A CSQ is Quebec's selection certificate. You then apply to IRCC for permanent residence, with its own fees, medicals, security checks and processing time. Two governments, two steps.
